Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, at Atlanta to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Early on, her father became interested in theater. He performed on the Emory University campus in 1952 and also in a variety of productions in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi, Mississippi, he received his induction into the airforce in the year 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was also in the production. In 1955, the couple married and in 1956 their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter went to Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in 1957. In 1960, the family relocated from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It ran for six years. They also had two youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, as well as Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
