Lis Wiehl was born on August 19, 1962 and is a former Fox News legal analyst.
She is an adjunct professor at Law at New York Law School. Previously she was Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. She has been a legal analyst on National Public Radio's show along with the Radio Factor of Bill O'Reilly. She appeared regularly of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She holds a degree of Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literary Studies from University of Queensland (1985) in addition to a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She served as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. Between 1995 and 2001, she was an adjunct professor of law in the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where she ran the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was employed as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 until 2017.
